Renmin University of China (RUC) is the first new-type regular university founded by the Communist Party of China. It is directly under the Ministry of Education and jointly supported by the Ministry of Education and the Beijing Municipal Government, and is included in China’s “Project 211,” “Project 985,” and “Double First-Class” initiatives. With distinctive strengths in the humanities and social sciences, the University is committed to talent cultivation, academic research, and think tank development, providing talent and intellectual support for China’s economic and social development as well as people-to-people and cultural exchanges between China and other countries.
