On June 16, 2025, to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with members, Mr. Jason CHIA , Secretary-General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) held an online video meeting with Dato' Quek Ngee Meng and Dato’ Fong Tian Yong, Directors of the Malaysia-China Business Council (ICDPASO Council members).
The two sides engaged in practical exchanges on topics such as exploring the establishment of a joint mediation mechanism, experts recommendation, rules formulation, and events co-hosting, and reached a cooperation consensus. Both parties expressed their commitment to jointly promoting the establishment of a dispute resolution mechanism between China and ASEAN, providing a more efficient and convenient platform for dispute prevention and resolution in regional economic and trade cooperation.
