Guangdong,June 11, 2025 - the Guangdong Province Cultural Industry Export Compliance Risk Screening and Compliance Service Month Launch Event was successfully held in Guangzhou. The Secretary-General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), Jason CHIA, was invited to attend the event.
During the launch ceremony, Secretary-General Jason CHIA, together with CHEN Xiaofeng, the President of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangdong Committee , DONG Tian, the Level Ⅱ Inspector of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province, REN Tianyang, the President of the YangCheng Evening News Group, and CAI Chenfeng, Director-General of the CCPIT Commercial Legal Service Center, jointly launched the Compliance Service Month event.

In the keynote speech session, Secretary-General Jason CHIA shared with participating enterprise representatives the theory and practice of international commercial dispute prevention and resolution. He advised enterprises to attach importance to dispute prevention and one-stop dispute resolution, introduced the expert resources of ICDPASO, and appealed enterprises to actively participate in the improvement and updating of international rules, helping to the high-quality development of Guangdong Province's cultural industry export endeavors.
During the event, CHEN Xiaofeng, the President of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangdong Committee , DONG Tian, the Level Ⅱ Inspector of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province, REN Tianyang, the President of the YangCheng Evening News Group, CAI Chenfeng, Director-General of the CCPIT Commercial Legal Service Center, and Shahbaz Khan, Representative to UNESCO Regional Office for East Asia, delivered speeches. In the keynote speech session, LI Xia, General Manager of “CULTURE&TOURISM” at China Cultural Media Group Co.,Ltd, delivered a presentation titled “Compliance as a Guardian, Cultural Overseas Expansion — Opportunities, Pathways, and Development Directions for China's Cultural Overseas Expansion”, offering businesses compliance advice with the latest data. Vivianne Gui, former Compliance Chief of a well-known U.S.-listed internet company, analysed cultural compliance risk prevention and control based on pain points and difficulties in corporate compliance practices, and provided case studies. WANG Naipeng, the Member of the China Film Producers’Association and National-Level Expert in film and television special effects makeup technology combined video materials to share how technology can empower cultural and tourism content to go global. YANG Yikun, Chairman of Shaanxi Youth Film Production Co., analyzed the risks and opportunities of film and television production shooting overseas based on the latest practices of film and television production. JIN Xi, Deputy Secretary-General of the CIETAC South China Sub-Commission, introduced the practical developments of the South China Sub-Commission. During the risk assessment session, LIU Hongxia, Compliance Business Manager of CCPIT Commercial Legal Service Center, guided on-site enterprises in completing the cultural industry internationalisation compliance risk assessment questionnaire and provided on-site consultations. The event was a complete success.
