Dr. LIU Chao, Secretary General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), recently conducted an online meeting with Mr. Michael Chai, Legal Affairs Committee Chairman of the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM, ICDPASO Supervisory Committee member).
The Secretariat reported to Mr. Michael Chai on the operation and achievements of ICDPASO since its establishment. Mr. Michael Chai said that under the increasingly serious situation of international trade friction, it is significant to develop commercial dispute prevention and settlement business in Malaysia. Both sides agreed to cooperate and negotiate together to explore the possibility of establishing a representative office of ICDPASO in Malaysia and jointly building a training base, so as to jointly play the advantages of the platform and help international economic and trade cooperation to achieve mutual benefits and win-win situation.
