On March 30, 2023, at the 7th International Mediation Summit, the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) and the High People’s Court of Fujian Province of the People's Republic of China (Fujian High People's Court) signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
REN Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), LUO Dongchuan, Deputy Secretary of CPC Fujian Provincial Committee of China, WANG Shumei, Permanent member of China’s Supreme People's Court's judicial committee (vice-minister level), President of the third Circuit Court of China’s Supreme People's Court's, JIANG Wei, Vice President of China Law Society, JIN Yinqiang, President of the Fujian High People's Court, HUANG Wenhui, Mayor of Xiamen Municipal People's Government of China , KE Liangdong, Vice Chairman of the CCPIT and related leaders attended the signing ceremony. LIU Chao, Secretary-General of ICDPASO and SU Jianping Vice President of the Fujian High People's Court signed the Memorandum of Understanding.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding marked the official opening of cooperation between ICDPASO and Fujian High People's Court in the field of diversified dispute resolution, will promote the establishment of a long-term and stable liaison mechanism and cooperative relationship between the two sides, and help conduct exchanges and consultations in line with the purposes stated above, exploring solutions to the international rule of law-related issues and promoting the development of the rule of law in the commercial field in China and the world together.
