On February 27, 2023, Dr. LIU Chao, Secretary General of the International Commercial Disputes Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), conducted an online meeting with Mr. Phouxay Thepphavong, Secretary General of the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI, ICDPASO Advisory Committee member).
The Secretariat reported to Mr. Phouxay Thepphavong on the operation and achievements of ICDPASO since its establishment. Mr. Phouxay Thepphavong, expressed high praise for the work and results achieved by the ICDPASO in the field of mediation and arbitration. He said that the economic development of Laos and some other countries has been hindered by the pandemic, the establishment of a commercial mediation center is particularly important for the LNCCI in resolving enterprise disputes. The two sides agreed to work together to contribute to the establishment of commercial mediation center and the settlement of International commercial disputes, integrate resources for win-win cooperation and build a bridge of communication between different countries.
