On February 24, 2023, Dr. LIU Chao, Secretary General of the International Commercial Disputes Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), conducted an online meeting with Ms. Elena Avakyan, Vice President of the Russian Federal Bar Association (RFBA, ICDPASO Council member).
The Secretariat reported on the operation and achievements of the ICDPASO since its establishment and looked forward to future cooperation between the two parties. Both sides agreed to jointly promote the construction of dispute prevention mechanism to create a law-based and facilitated business environment for Russian cross-border enterprises; carry out extensive cooperation in the training of mediators and arbitrators (Moscow station), the Global Intellectual Property 50 Forum (GIP 50) and recommending expert. In the future, the two sides will continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation, jointly develop their platform advantages to provide high-quality legal services to Russian cross-border enterprises and contribute to the promotion of legal exchanges between the two sides.
