Xiamen, September 1, 2025 - The “ICDPASO Law - Commerce Integration Salon” was successfully held in Xiamen. The event was jointly hosted by the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) (Xiamen) Representative Office and the Xiamen General Chamber of longyanxinluo, co-organized by the Maritime Silk Road Chamber of International Arbitration Promotion (MSRCIAP). With the theme of "Cross-border Commercial Dispute Settlement and Cooperation", the salon attracted representatives from the Xiamen General Chamber of longyanxinluo, enterprise representatives, lawyers, and industry experts.
During the event, Mr. WU Shaoying, Senior Consultant of ICDPASO (Xiamen) Representative Office, provided a detailed introduction to ICDPASO’s founding background, global membership network and the application of its model clauses. Using practical cases, he illustrated ICDPASO’s advantages in cross-border commercial dispute resolution and how ICDPASO helps enterprises effectively address cross-border commercial disputes and legal challenges.
Mr. MA Junhua, President of Legal Affairs Department of the Xiamen General Chamber of longyanxinluo, provided an in-depth analysis of the trend of enterprises’ overseas expansion. He pointed out that as the demand for overseas expansion grows, ICDPASO’s commercial legal services will become an important support for enterprises’ global development.
Mr. AN Shouzhi, Co-Chairman of the MSRCIAP, shared experience of cooperation with ICDPASO in the field of international arbitration. He emphasized the advantages of ICDPASO’s global expert network and industry resources which enhance the transparency and efficiency of dispute settlement and provide more efficient and equitable dispute prevention and settlement solutions to enterprises worldwide.
The participants had an in-depth discussions on issues including cross-border dispute settlement, recognition and enforcement of awards, and the application of ICDPASO’s model clauses in various industries. This event effectively improved awareness of ICDPASO’s model clauses in commercial legal services, promoted inter-institutional and cross-sectoral resource sharing and cooperation, and provided enterprises with innovative and practical dispute settlement solutions.
