Beijing, October 14, 2026 - the 10th Conference on Service Trade Standardization was held in Beijing. Ms. YANG Zhaoying, Director of the General Affairs Department of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), was invited to attend the thematic discussion on "Standardization of Corporate Overseas Expansion Services and Compliance Capacity Building" and delivered remarks.
During the thematic discussion, Director YANG Zhaoying introduced the basic information of ICDPASO and its work in international standardization. She noted that standardization serves as the foundation for shaping common rules and transaction expectations, compliance management is key to implementing these rules in business operations, and dispute prevention further identifies and mitigates risks on this basis. The three are closely interconnected and together constitute important support for compliance capacity building in corporate overseas expansion. Accordingly, ICDPASO is committed to establishing a one-stop dispute prevention and settlement mechanism covering the entire process of international commercial activities—from risk early warning and due diligence at the pre-transaction stage, to good offices and consultations during contract performance, and to mediation and arbitration linkage after disputes arise—so as to promote the application of standardization outcomes in cross-border business scenarios.
The conference was hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Commercial Sub-Council, under the theme "Standards Leading a New Decade of Service Trade." It brought together more than 200 representatives from international organizations, government departments, industry institutions, and enterprises to exchange views on frontier issues in service trade standardization.
