Chengdu, September 20, 2026 -Mr. Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), led a delegation on a visit to the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Sichuan Council (CCPIT Sichuan Council), where they held discussions with LV Furong, Chairperson of CCPIT Sichuan Council, FAN Jun, Vice Chairperson, ZHANG Wei, Director of the Legal Affairs Department, and other representatives.
The two sides exchanged views on establishing a regular communication and liaison mechanism, jointly organizing international forums and events, and strengthening foreign-related commercial legal services. They also discussed leveraging their respective platforms and professional resources to provide Sichuan enterprises with support for international operations and overseas expansion through one-stop commercial dispute resolution services with dispute prevention as the starting point.
Both sides expressed their commitment to further strengthening communication and cooperation, advancing the implementation of relevant cooperation initiatives, and jointly enhancing their capacity and service quality in supporting the international development of enterprises.
