Chengdu, September 20, 2026 -Mr. Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), and his delegation held a meeting with representatives of Sichuan University Law School. Participants included BI Yu, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Sichuan University Law School; FENG Shuai, Vice Dean of the Law School; HU Songhe, Assistant to the Dean of the Law School and Head of the Division of Research and International Affairs; Zhang Wei, Director of the Commercial Legal Affairs Department of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Sichuan Council (CCPIT Sichuan Council), and SUN Wenhui, First-Level Researcher of the Department.
The two sides exchanged views on the cultivation of legal professionals with expertise in foreign-related legal affairs, research on rules and academic projects in the field of international commercial dispute prevention and settlement, and cooperation in expert resources. They also explored ways to leverage their respective professional expertise and platform resources to provide internship and practical training opportunities for students, facilitate expert recommendations and think tank development, jointly conduct research on rules and academic projects, and co-organize professional forums and academic exchange activities.
