ICDPASO was Invited to Attend the 2026 Seminar on “Building China’s Foreign-Related Rule of Law System” and the Unveiling Ceremony of the Institute of Foreign-Related Rule of Law and the School of Foreign-Related Rule of Law of Southwest University of Political Science and Law

Chongqing, September 19, 2026-the 2026 Seminar on “Building China’s Foreign-Related Rule of Law System” and the Unveiling Ceremony of the Institute of Foreign-Related Rule of Law and the School of Foreign-Related Rule of Law of Southwest University of Political Science and Law were successfully held. Mr. Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (hereinafter referred to as ICDPASO), was invited to attend the event and delivered a speech at the opening ceremony.

Secretary-General Jason CHIA expressed warm congratulations on the successful holding of the seminar and the unveiling of the Institute of Foreign-Related Rule of Law and the School of Foreign-Related Rule of Law of Southwest University of Political Science and Law. In light of the current international situation and ICDPASO’s functional positioning as a non-governmental international organization, he suggested that foreign-related legal talent should uphold extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits and cultivate a global perspective; strengthen a practice-oriented approach and improve practical skills; and deepen the integration of law and business and enhance capacity for rule innovation. The rule of law is the best business environment, and prevention is the most effective governance, ICDPASO looks forward to

deepening cooperation with universities and institutions, experts and scholars to jointly cultivate high-end international legal talent, jointly research cutting-edge topics on the integration of law and business, share a global cooperation network, and jointly advance research and practice in foreign-related rule of law.

Subsequently, Secretary-General Jason CHIA, together with Chen Danhong, Director-General of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Natural Resources; Lin Wei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Southwest University of Political Science and Law; Gao Songlin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Chief Procurator of the Chongqing Municipal People’s Procuratorate; Li Ming, Executive Vice President of the Chinese Society of International Law; Cao Hua, Deputy Director-General of the International Cooperation Bureau of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate; Long Fei, Director of the Coordination and Guidance Office of the International Commercial Court of the Supreme People’s Court; and Chen Bo, Director of the Fourth Division of the Bureau of Foreign-Related Rule of Law Work of the Ministry of Justice, jointly witnessed Jiang Tianbo, Executive Deputy Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee, and Tang Qingyang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Southwest University of Political Science and Law, unveil the Institute of Foreign-Related Rule of Law of Southwest University of Political Science and Law.
