Ningbo, September 2, 2026 ----- the event titled “Compliance Risk Assessment for Zhejiang Biomedical Enterprises’ International Operations (Ningbo Session)” was held. The event was jointly organized by the Secretariat of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Resolution Organization (ICDPASO), the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Zhejiang Sub-Council, the CCPIT Ningbo Committee, and the Ningbo Municipal Healthcare Security Bureau, with support from the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (KRIB), a member organization of ICDPASO.

Mr. Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of ICDPASO, attended the event and delivered opening remarks. He noted that the global economic and trade environment is becoming increasingly complex and dynamic, and that the international expansion of the biomedical industry faces various challenges, including intellectual property protection, market access, regulatory compliance, and contract performance risks. ICDPASO will continue to leverage its role as a cross-border commercial service platform to provide enterprises with support in risk prevention, dispute resolution, and compliance development. Mr. HU Gang, Director of the Legal Affairs Department of the CCPIT Zhejiang Sub-Council, and Mr. Boyan Mitrakiev, Executive Director and Member of the Management Board of KRIB, delivered speeches. Following that, two expert representatives gave specialized lectures for the enterprises.

The event represented a practical service initiative under the legal services program mechanism of the Bilateral Commercial Legal Cooperation Committee. Through thematic presentations, roundtable discussions, compliance risk assessments, and on-site consultations, the event helped enterprises further enhance their capabilities in identifying and addressing international business risks, providing professional and international legal service support for biomedical enterprises pursuing global expansion.
