Beijing, August 30, 2026 - the themed seminar “New Challenges for Enterprises Going Global: International Relations, Geopolitics and Foreign-Related Legal Services,” hosted by the School of International Studies at Renmin University of China and organized by Beijing Celue Law Firm, was held in Beijing. The Secretariat of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) was invited to attend.

The seminar focused on changes in the international landscape, opportunities for Chinese enterprises going global, foreign-related legal risks, and corporate compliance responses. Guests from universities, international organizations, legal service institutions, and enterprises participated in the discussions.

During the event, Ms. CUI Tong, Manager of the Membership Division of ICDPASO, noted that enterprises operating internationally are facing multiple legal and compliance challenges, legal-business integration is becoming a core component of corporate internationalization strategies. Leveraging its collaborative advantages across jurisdictions, professional fields, and institutions, ICDPASO provides full-chain legal support covering ex ante prevention, ongoing control, and ex post remedies. It is also advancing the development of the "One-Stop Mechanism from Dispute Prevention to Settlement," which aims to promote a paradigm shift from dispute settlement to dispute prevention. She suggested that enterprises proactively embed dispute prevention into their compliance systems and actively leverage external resources from international organizations and professional platforms to sustain their international operations.

Going forward, ICDPASO will continue to leverage its international platform and professional resources, strengthen exchanges and cooperation with universities, legal service institutions, enterprises, and other stakeholders, and provide professional support for enterprises in cross-border operations and the prevention and settlement of international commercial disputes.
