Beijing, August, 2026-the Secretariat of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) and the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI) held an online Bilateral Commercial Legal Cooperation Committee Liaison Mechanism Meeting and Member Liaison Meeting. Representatives from the Legal Affairs Department of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Matrix LLP attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Mr. Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of ICDPASO, gave an overview of the bilateral cooperation mechanism and ICDPASO’s recent work progress, and presented proposals for the next stage of cooperation.
Ms. FENG Yanan, Senior Partner of Matrix LLP, and Mr. TIAN Jingqiao, Partner of Matrix LLP, delivered remarks respectively. Drawing on their practical experience, they shared suggestions on bilateral cooperation and exchanged views with the participants on relevant cooperation matters and follow-up arrangements.
Mr. Phouxay THEPPHAVONG, Secretary General of the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI), introduced the chamber’s work priorities and the legal needs of its member enterprises operating in China, and shared his views on future cooperation between the two sides. The participants discussed cooperation intentions and follow-up arrangements and exchanged views on strengthening communication and advancing relevant cooperation matters.The Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI) is a member of the ICDPASO Advisory Committee.
