Shanghai, May 21, 2026- An expert symposium organized by the the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) was held in Shanghai. The meeting aimed to solicit suggestions from local experts and member representatives regarding ICDPASO’s development plan, and to convey the work requirements for the construction of the teams of arbitrators, mediators, and dispute prevention experts.
Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of ICDPASO, provided an overview of the ICDPASO’s progress in construction of expert talent reserve, case administration, member cooperation and international exchanges and conveyed the work requirements for cultivating three categories of expert system and case support talents suited to the new era to expert representatives. Participating experts put forward suggestions for the construction of ICDPASO's three categories of expert system and future direction from their respective professional perspectives.
The meeting was supported by the Forensic Science Institute of Fudan University and Fudan Center for Collaborative Innovation in Management and Rule-of-Law. Several arbitrators, mediators, and member representatives in Shanghai attended the symposium and engaged in discussions.
