Beijing, May 18, 2026 - Mr. Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), led a delegation to visit the Law School of Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) and held in-depth discussions with Professor DING Xiangshun, Dean of BFSU Law School, as well as Ms. MO Fei, Associate Professor of BFSU School of International Organizations and Director of the International Law Teaching and Research Office, on topics such as the cultivation of foreign-related rule-of-law talents and international cooperation.
During the meeting, Secretary-General Jason CHIA briefed on ICDPASO's recent progress in the field of dispute prevention and settlement, while Dean DING Xiangshun shared BFSU Law School's practical experience in cultivating "multi-language + law" compound talents. Both sides agreed that ICDPASO's dispute resolution practice resources and BFSU Law School's multilingual legal education advantages are highly complementary. Future practical cooperation will be carried out in areas such as joint training programs, collaborative research projects, event co-organization, and the joint establishment of internship bases, to jointly contribute to the development of foreign-related rule of law and high-level opening up.
