Xiamen, March 5, 2026 - Mr. WU Shaoying, Senior Consultant of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) (Xiamen) Representative Office, visited Xiamen International Commercial Tribunal and Yipan Smart Mediation Center. In-depth discussions were held regarding the deepening of cooperation in diversified international commercial dispute resolution and the establishment of working mechanisms for litigation-mediation and mediation-arbitration.
During the visit to Xiamen International Commercial Tribunal, Mr. WU Shaoying had comprehensive exchanges with Mr. ZHAI Weikun, President of Xiamen International Commercial Tribunal. The two parties engaged in thorough communication on deepening practical cooperation and reached multiple consensuses on issues including the construction of the working mechanism for litigation-mediation and the sharing of expert resources.
At Yipan Smart Mediation Center, Mr. WU Shaoying held conversations with Dr. LAI Huaping, Vice President of Xiamen Commercial Mediation Association, on cooperation directions including establishing a working mechanism for mediation-arbitration, and advancing the digitization and informatization construction of the entire case handling process.
This research visit represents an important initiative by ICDPASO (Xiamen) Representative Office to deepen its involvement in the construction of the Maritime Silk Road Central Legal District (MSRCLD). ICDPASO (Xiamen) Representative Office will collaborate with relevant legal service providers within MSRCLD to offer efficient and convenient dispute prevention and resolution services to market entities.
