Xiamen, December 12, 2025 – The “School of International Relations at Xiamen University Visited the Xiamen Representative Office” Open Day was successfully held by the (Xiamen) Representative Office of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO). This event, themed “Visiting ICDPASO, Exploring Practices in Global Governance Together”, welcomed students from the School of International Relations at Xiamen University.
During the exchange session, staff from the (Xiamen) Representative Office highlighted ICDPASO’s core functions, focusing on the practical work in providing one-stop full-chain legal services for the prevention and resolution of cross-border commercial disputes, as well as the research and formulation of international rules. The presentation also covered ICDPASO’s functional positioning within the global governance system and its practical value in promoting the efficient resolution of international commercial disputes by drawing on typical cases.
In the subsequent interactive session, students actively raised questions about internship application, core skills for the positions, and future trends in global governance, and engaged in in-depth discussions with the Office’s staff. Two current interns from the (Xiamen) Representative Office then shared their personal experiences, discussing their work responsibilities and accomplishments.
This Open Day has built a bridge for practical exchanges between university students and international organizations, effectively broadening the students’ global horizons and deepening their understanding of the international commercial dispute resolution field.
