ICDPASO Secretariat Visited CIETAC South China Sub-Commission and Attended Real Estate Transformation and Development Legal Forum and the 7th Real Estate Enterprise Legal Annual Conference

Shenzhen, 14 November 2025, Mr Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) with his delegation, visited the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) South China Sub-Commission. The delegation held a working meeting with Deputy Secretary-General of CIETAC South China Sub-Commission and Hainan Arbitration Center, JIN Xi, to discuss deepening cooperation between the two parties. Both sides had in-depth exchanges on jointly holding themed forums and professional training in the South China region to provide enterprises with a full chain of commercial dispute resolution solutions.

Shenzhen, 15 November 2025, the “Real Estate Transformation and Development Legal Forum and the 7th Real Estate Enterprise Legal Annual Conference” hosted by the China Real Estate Association and organized by its Legal Work Committee, Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, and China Resources Land Limited, was held in Shenzhen. Secretary-General Jason CHIA was invited to attend the event and participated in a roundtable dialogue session on the theme “Reflections and Outlook on Industry Compliance Governance.” During the session, he engaged in in-depth discussions with participating experts. He stated that against the backdrop of profound changes in the global economic landscape, the real estate industry faces multiple legal challenges, including cross-border investment, compliance operations, and contract disputes. ICDPASO will continue to leverage its platform and mechanism advantages to help real estate companies enhance their cross-border risk prevention and control capabilities and promote sustainable development of the industry by promoting rule building, integrating member unit resources, and providing one-stop legal services for dispute prevention and resolution.

The event brought together over 100 representatives from government agencies, industry associations, arbitration institutions, real estate enterprises, and lawyers across the country.
