Singapore, October 22 to 23, 2025 - Mr. Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) with his delegation, paid a visit to Fangda Partners (Singapore) LLP and Allen & Gledhill LLP. The delegation held meetings and exchanges with senior lawyers including Ms. WANG Yingying, Managing Partner at Fangda Singapore Office, and Allen & Gledhill Mr. William Ong, Partner and Co-Head of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Department, Ms. Sophia Feng, International Counsel, Ms. Tan Xeauwei, Partner and Co-Head of the Banking Disputes practice , Mr. Lim Dao Kai, Partner and Deputy Head of the Construction & Engineering Practice, Ms. Lee Bik Wei, Partner and the Deputy Head of the White Collar & Investigations Practice, Mr. Erik Widjaja, Partner, and Mr. Daniel Liang, Partner.
During the meetings, both sides held in-depth discussions and exchanged cooperative proposals on multiple topics. Key topics included jointly promoting the integration of law and business, co-establishing one-stop legal services for dispute prevention and resolution, engaging dispute prevention experts as well as arbitration and mediation professionals, and collaborating with ICDPASO members to participate in international governance and rule-making in emerging fields. Furthermore, the parties delved into promoting independent dispute prevention clauses and one-stop dispute resolution clauses, as well as conducting professional training and comparative law research, all aimed at enhancing the efficiency and professionalism of international commercial dispute resolution.
