Singapore, October 23, 2025 - Mr. Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) with his delegation, paid a visit to Singapore International Mediation Centre (SIMC) and held a discussion with Mr. Lee Beng Tat, Benatt, Director of REGISTRAR of SIMC, Ms. Fern Cheng, Director of Marketing of SIMC, and Ms. Serena Liu, Deputy Director (Operation And China).
The two sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on establishing a bilateral joint mediation mechanism, developing one-stop dispute prevention and resolution services, creating a linkage mechanism between dispute prevention and commercial mediation, as well as enabling the sharing and mutual recommendation of experts. Furthermore, they exchanged views on participation in international rule-making and jointly developing training systems focused on dispute prevention and mediator. These discussions have laid a solid foundation for deepening international cooperation in dispute prevention and resolution.
