Xiamen, October 10, 2025 - The Launch Event of Innovation Achievements in Foreign-Related Commercial and Maritime Arbitration System of Xiamen Free Trade Zone, jointly hosted by the Xiamen Maritime Silk Road Chamber of International Arbitration Promotion and Maritime Silk Road Integrated Base for International Legal and Business Services, was successfully held. The event themed “Deepening Innovation in Foreign-Related Commercial and Maritime Arbitration Systems to Support High-Level Opening-Up”, aims to introduce pioneering maritime arbitration regulations, strengthen collaboration with maritime and judicial authorities, promote the practical application of arbitration innovations in highly controversial areas such as crew labor and logistics transportation, and deepen cooperation with domestic and international arbitration institutions. The International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) (Xiamen) Representative Office participated in the event as a supporting organization.
During the event, Mr. Wu Shaoying, Senior Consultant of Xiamen Representative Office, attended the unveiling ceremony of the “Maritime Silk Road Public Welfare Maritime Arbitrators' Home and Shared Expert Database”. In the future, ICDPASO will continue to deepen cooperation with relevant entities and further advance reforms and innovations in the foreign-related commercial and maritime arbitration system and practices in Xiamen Free Trade Zone.
